Returning my ballot

Ballot Drop Boxes
Return your ballot to a ballot drop box, no stamp required. Your ballot must be returned to a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. election day.

By Mail
No stamp needed to return your ballot! You can vote and return your ballot through the U.S. Postal Service as soon as your receive it. Voters are encouraged to mail in ballots prior to April 19th, to ensure the envelopes are postmarked by Election Day

Accessible Voting Center
Douglas County accessible voting center (AVC) is available to voters who need assistance completing their ballot at the Douglas County Courthouse in Waterville. Trained staff and specialized equipment is available to help voters with disabilities cast a private, independent ballot.
