Facts about the upcoming sale:

• Sale date:  December 4, 2009 (subject to change)
• Place:       Douglas County Courthouse, Waterville WA (on Hwy 2; 25 miles east of Wenatchee)
• Time:       10:00 A.M.
• All properties can be redeemed and removed from the sale by the record owner up to 4:30 P.M., December 3, 2009.
• A bid sheet will be available the day of the sale listing the properties to be sold and the minimum bids.
• The properties will be auctioned by the Douglas County Treasurer to the highest bidder.
• Absentee bidding is not allowed.  You may, however, have an agent bid for you.  In accordance with RCW 84.64.080, NO PERSON WHO IS A COUNTY EMPLOYEE OR OFFICER MAY BID AT THIS SALE, NOR MAY SUCH PERSON BID AS AN AGENT OR ALLOW ANY AGENT TO BID ON HIS OR HER BEHALF.
• Only cash, certified check, cashier’s check or money order (payable to Douglas County Treasurer) will be accepted for payment of properties sold.  Waterville’s two local banks, Sterling Savings Bank and North Cascades National Bank, will only issue cashier’s checks on their accounts.  Refund checks on certified checks, cashier’s checks and money orders will not be issued day of sale.
• The individual with the highest bid will have approximately 1 (one) hour to do necessary banking before payment of property must be received by this office.

This is a “Buyer Beware” sale.  It is up to you to know exactly what you are bidding on. All research must be done by you.
