ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE AMENDMENTS
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners approved Ordinance TLS 11-01-01 on January 4, 2011 adopting amendments to Chapters 14.98 and 18.16 relative to Electric Vehicle Infrastructure.
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public meeting on the proposed EVI amendments on January 4, 2011 at 10:00AM in the Commissioners Chambers of the Courthouse, located at 203 South Rainier, Waterville, WA.
At the December 8, 2010 Public Hearing, the Douglas County Planning Commission unanimously passed a motion to recommend approval of the proposed EVI amendments to the Board of Commissioners.
The Washington State Department of Commerce granted expedited review on December 2, 2010 for the proposed amendments to the Douglas County Code for electric vehicle infrastructure.
The Douglas County Planning Commission will be conducting a public hearing on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Public Services Building hearing room located at 140 19th Street NW, East Wenatchee, WA. View Staff Report and recommendation.
Douglas County and the Cities of Bridgeport and East Wenatchee and the Town of Waterville intend to adopt amendments to each jurisdictions development regulations regarding electric vehicle infrastructure. Expedited agency review per RCW 36.70A.106 has been requested, with the comment period commencing on November 11, 2010. If expedited review is not granted, the comment period will conclude on January 10, 2011.
