Expedited Review
Douglas County intends to adopt amendments to the Douglas County Code. The proposed amendments have been sent to the Washington State Department of Commerce in accordance with RCW 36.70A.106. Douglas County has requested expedited state review pursuant to RCW 36.70A.106.
The comment period for the draft amendments commenced on August 30, 2012 and will conclude once expedited review has been granted. The expedited review period is 10 business days (14 calendar days) from the date of submittal to the Department of Commerce. Should the expedited review not be granted, the comment period will conclude on October 29, 2012. Proposed amendments will be considered at a public hearing once expedited review as been granted. Douglas County issued a determination of non-significance (DNS) with a 14 day comment period concluding on September 13, 2012.
